The Ground is getting ready

We'll I spent some time tonight on one of my construction sites. The ground is in very good shape for this time of year. The dirt is just about perfect for moving and packing right now. I just hope we don't get a large amount of rain in the coming month. Let us know how the dirt is doing in your part of the state.

Rain, Rain Go Away

OK I know it's almost April and we need rain in some places. I just don't want it at the track. I want to go racing at. I hope to see racing start soon here in Iowa. IF any racers are planning to travel please post so we can meet.

Racing in Des Moines

I recieved a e-mail from Kittie commenting that the track would not be ready to start racing the first half of april. Please check back for more information. That is all the information I know at this time.

Clean up at Dog Park Cancelled

Clean -up has been cancelled due to overnite snowfall.

CR BMX Helping with Dog Park clean-up

Everybody, Anna and the rest of the Cedar Rapids BMX group are helping out their neighbors (Dog Park Assoc.)in Cheyenne Park. Please come out and help them clean the dog park after the terrible floods of 08. Group are planning to meet on site Saturday if weather allows. If weather is bad they will try again on Sunday. Time is 10am to 1 pm both days.

Off Season Fun

Spring is Here

BMXer's spring has finally arrived or so it seems. Racing our local tracks is right around the corner. Let us know with a post when your track work days are and when racing starts. I would like to get as many racers on the site so we can post race schedules, cancelations, and other items of interest. Maybe the embarasing crash photo or birthday wish. Anyway if you have a track update please post it.
